Mornings? She’s all about them…. But hates getting ready in the morning which is probably why she’s jealous of Mystique from X-men’s ability to shapeshift. Kaycie starts her day with her favourite productivity hack: lots of coffee and a good playlist.
When she's not shaping user experiences she’s reading comics or tending to her collection of carnivorous plants. Need a shopping buddy? Kaycie's got you covered, not only for remembering reusable bags but also for her unexpected expertise in Muay Thai—definitely a unique skill for a designer!
Gaming holds a special place in Kaycie’s heart. From squabbling with her brother over who gets to play Zelda, handing out beatdowns in Super Smash Brothers with Princess Peach, or getting lost in Final Fantasy cutscenes, she’s always been drawn to gaming. After a sabbatical from gaming due to pursuing her bachelors in Industrial Design in college, Kaycie circled back and used gaming as a source of inspiration when pursuing her Masters in Human-Computer Interaction in Germany.
