Terry Summerbell
Senior project manager
Terry was born in Barnet on the edge of North London, but grew up in a town called Kenilworth in Warwickshire, UK.
He dreamed of being a guitar player throughout his childhood and teenage years, but eventually he had to crush that dream and get a proper job. Fortunately, he’d got into marketing his band on MySpace and other online channels, which eventually led to an account executive internship at a digital agency. Later his loves of music and digital technology came together and he joined Sony Music as a digital producer, and after a long stint there he’s been back in the agency world.
After completing some courses in XR development and virtual production, Terry was looking for companies that primarily work with XR and real-time 3D technologies. One thing led to another and he got introduced to Koffeecup, and things worked out from there.
Terry likes having a role to play in the various functions of Koffeecup and working alongside a talented and dedicated team where everyone is learning so much and working together to create new gaming and XR experiences.
Terry still finds time to learn technology in more depth, particularly Unreal Engine 5 which he loves creating scenes and small games in, but what relaxes him the most, however, is playing guitar and going for long walks in nature.
