Brief

The iconic fashion house, Bottega Veneta, enlisted our help to develop their first brand app.

The purpose of the app was to initially build the narrative around the new chapter the brand was about to embark on, under the creative direction of two new designers. As Bottega Veneta’s first app, it aims to establish a creative dialogue between BV, its collaborators and community, and ultimately serve as a hub for special content, a marketplace, and a door into the brand’s expression in the metaverse.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

How did we do it

We collaborated with BV and our design partners, Trends & Culture, to establish a design that incorporated the use of immersive technology to allow users to explore their creativity while discovering brand content.

The brief challenged us to develop an unconventional app with a distinctive, minimalistic language, while still delivering a smooth and cohesive mobile app experience. The final flow adopts a linear ‘tap-through’ journey that allows users to loop through a series of screens starting with an animated landing page, leading to an AR experience, before entering a Media Gallery and Radio Player - all containing exclusive brand content.
