Concept Artist

We are looking for a Concept Artist to join our team, either remotely or in one of our offices.

Job Description

  • Work with the creative lead and the creative team to define the projects visual directions

  • Create and present mood boards and references

  • Quickly iterate concepts pieces, from sketches to rendering

  • Develop characters, environments, props and other assets

  • Develop concepts to support production of 3D assets and work with the 3D team during the production phase

  • Maintain consistent style under the direction of the Creative Lead and carry out revisions as required

 

Must HAve

  • Excellent sketching and painting abilities for rough conceptualization

  • Mastery of fundamentals such anatomy, perspective, values, colors, etc.

  • Excellent Ability to efficiently create concept art pieces and iteration

  • Ability to create high quality artwork

  • Ability to work on a wide range of art direction and styles

  • Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team

  • Ability to understand a brief and a visual direction to create coherent & matching concept art pieces

  • Ability to create descriptive concept art pieces ready for 3D modeling

  • Strong working knowledge of 2D Softwares

  • Basic understanding of 3D Softwares

  • Comfortable with taking feedback and use it to improve your work

  • Good sense of imagination and creative mindset

  • Keeping up to date with the latest design trends and advancements in technology

  • Excellent ability to manage timelines and be self-directed

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

 

Nice to HAVe

  • Experience with AR/VR Immersive technologies

  • Shipped a video game

  • Experience using 3D modeling software
